On January 1, 2010 Eric van Schagen, CEO of Simac Techniek, will become the new chairman of FHI, federation of technology branches. This was announced after the FHI general assembly on November 26. Eric van schagen is the successor of Marcel van den Broek of Mediq NV. Mr Van den Broek resigns as his statutory term of four years has ended. After accepting the position of Chairman Eric van Schagen will also take over the FHI position from Mr Van den Broek in the board of MKB the Netherlands.
Van Schagen has already fulfilled several board positions within FHI. In the past he was chairman of the FHI branch for Industrial Electronics. He also was a member of the federation board. With this change in chairmanship FHI continues its policy to search for an entrepreneur from the branch with a proven record of service in the market as well as in the branch organisation
