This year’s IBC again was a great success for Simac Broadcast and IMPEQ Technologies. It also marked the first year that Simac Broadcast and IMPEQ Technologies jointly exhibited.

IBC 2007 gave us the opportunity to show our full combined strengths in test & measurement, product development, system integration & support and consultancy by true end-to-end solutions. Our booth featured a living room area and control room, which were excellent setups to demonstrate both digital television features and our own products. This was supported through an “on-booth” operational head-end. Test & measurement had a validation setup on show.

New Solutions and In-House Development

Visitors showed tremendous interest in our own development and terrestrial frequency and network planning services. IBC 2007 saw the introduction of the IMPEQ Push VOD solution, developed in cooperation with Conax. Also this year, there was the opportunity to meet SAM, our Service Analyser and Monitoring system.

Special Guests

On Saturday, we hosted a party on our booth for our guests from the Philippines, who are preparing the roll-out of their digital terrestrial TV network in the coming year. Especially for this event, we welcomed the Ambassador to our booth and demonstrated our digital TV solutions, an event that has even made headlines in the Philippines.
