The new version of CheckMate Parking software will be provided with an option for digital registration number recognition. This offers the possibility in addition to the current forms of digital permits (as bar code or RFID cards) to issue permits for registration numbers and without the presence of a physical permit document in the vehicle.

By means of the built-in "imager" in our handheld terminal a photo is being made of the registration number and the characters on the license plate are being processed into digital information that can be checked with the permits database. This whole procedure only takes a few seconds.
