Storing information correctly is crucial

At the same time the amount of information grows explosively each year. Various analysts speak about growth of 30 to 50% per year for the coming years. Illustrative is the email exchange. IDC predicts that in 2007 worldwide more than 36 billion emails will be sent. A growth of more than 360% to 2000. In 2000 ‘only’ billion emails were sent.
Tightened legislation
By means of a tightened legislation managing board members can be hold responsible, if there is proof that insufficient measures were taken to manage the riscs of loss of information. Legislation increasingly imposes mandatory storage and unlocking periods.

Storage starts with saving information. Today various technologies are
available, such as SAN and NAS, Fiber Channel and iSCSI. HP will
enlighten you on these technologies and will make clear which one is
the most suitable for you. Of course also attention is being paid to
securing information by means of back-up & restore.

it must still be stored. Symantec has a unique solution with Enterprise
Vault, which makes archiving of this kind of information possible. It
