For many years Simac has been the main sponsor and namesake of the Omloop der Kempen. This cycling race from the KNWU Top Competition for Elite Men starts and finishes in Veldhoven.
The Simac Omloop der Kempen continues to prove its worth as the benchmark for a professional career. The very long honors list with countless and very renowned names on the podium make this immediately clear. After all, the typical and beautiful course to the furthest corners of the Kempen and even partly on Belgian territory has drawn the strongest possible field of participants to Veldhoven in Brabant for decades (since 1948). of 2016 will also be a regular part of the KNWU Top Competition, the 'Eredivisie of Cycling'.
In April 2018, the main sponsor contract was extended for three years.
