Since July 2018, Simac owns the majority of shares in French company WAVETEL. WAVETEL currently operates from four locations: Paris, Chartes de Bretagne, Larmor-Plage and Lannion. The company specialises in solutions for testing and measuring in telecommunications and IT networks. WAVETEL cooperates very closely with Simac BMS (Business Management Solutions), a separate business unit that operates under the flag of Simac ICT Belgium. Together they focus on projects and contracts with major French clients in the field of Network Performance Management and Network Security.
In addition, WAVETEL sells test and measurement equipment and therefore has activities comparable to Simac Electronics (active in the Dutch and Belgian markets). This is also where Simac's roots lie.
