With the Simac Impact Report 2025, we are publishing our second sustainability report. This is a good opportunity to highlight where we stand, the steps we have taken, and the areas we intend to build on in the coming years.
Proud of the figures
The report features results we are proud of. Our energy consumption fell by 16% and our CO₂ emissions by 18%. Gas consumption at the Simac head office in Veldhoven dropped by 74%.
Social responsibility
But impact extends beyond energy and emissions. It is also about being a good employer, development, digital security, privacy, circularity and local community engagement. A fine example of this is ‘Sociaal Spijbelen’. This initiative was launched last year, and Simac employees have already collectively spent 402 hours volunteering for a social cause.
Sustainability provides direction
At the same time, the Impact Report is not an end in itself. It is a foundation on which to build further. In the coming period, we will further refine our ambitions for each key theme. In this way, we ensure that sustainability is not only visible in what we report, but increasingly guides the choices we make.
