Today it was announced that Simac IDS has been sold to the Swedish company TimeEdit. This concerns all activities of Simac IDS, both in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom.
TimeEdit is also originally a family business and has been helping universities in Scandinavia for more than twenty-five years and worldwide for the last five years to draw up teaching programmes, create timetables and plan academic resources. Simac IDS's Presto Suite monitors attendance, organises proactive support and manages student engagement. Presto is a perfect addition to their portfolio. It allows universities to link their planning to actual student participation, enabling them to identify at-risk students at an early stage, advise them and guide them through any problems or choices they may face.
