Unexpected gifts are often the best. Simac surprised three charities with a generous cheque for a thousand euros. The money came from Simac colleagues who had paid for a second-hand laptop.
Money for laptops
Simac also regularly needs to replace laptops. Until 2025, we offered colleagues the opportunity to purchase these with the promise that we would donate the money to charity. Now was the time to actually transfer the money. We chose three charities that we already know and with which we have a warm relationship: Stichting Anders Eindhoven, Stichting Leergeld Veldhoven & De Kempen and the Ronald McDonald House Southeast Brabant.
New connections
Representatives of the three organisations were welcomed at Simac Huys by Maartje van Schagen to receive the cheques. The preliminary discussions, in which the organisations shared their experiences with each other, were fascinating. New and interesting links were established. One thing is certain: the money has been put to good use!
