Opening of the fifth office in Belgium

Simac ICT Belgium recently opened a new regional office in Lummen, Limburg. The new office allows Simac employees to work closer to  home and save time in traffic. The opening of an extra office fits perfectly in Simac’s strategy of having offices close to its customers and to its employees’ homes.

Situated at Bosstraat 54 in Lummen, the new office  mainly welcomes people working in the Business Management Solutions division of Simac. This division focuses on monitoring companies’ critical assets (infrastructure, networks) and applications and proposes solutions to improve business performance and end-user experience.

Reduce travel time

“Limburg is traditionally a region where we recruit people for our division,” says Joël Thys, director Business Management Solutions at Simac ICT Belgium. “IT specialists there are highly skilled, but prefer not to commute to our offices in Kortenberg or Heverlee. Lummen is an ideal location for us, close to the motorways that connect us to other parts of Belgium.” Lummen provides excellent office and meeting facilities.

Near customers

“We now have offices in Kortenberg, Heverlee, Pulderbos, Bastogne and Lummen”, says Patrick Bontinckx, CEO of Simac ICT Belgium. “That gives us a good spread over Belgium. We always try to be close to our employees’ homes and to our customers’ sites. Close to our employees to reduce their hours in traffic and improve their work/life balance. Close to our customers in order to intervene quickly when we have strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with them.”
