Hockey club Oranje-Rood was founded on July 1, 2016 as a continuation after the merger of EMHC and Oranje Zwart.
The club colors of Orange-Red are orange and red. Orange was the color of the shirt of Orange Black, red was the color of the shirt of EMHC. The name is nothing more than a reference to the club colors.
