PHI DATA is engaged in digitization solutions (so-called smart edge solutions) that are close to the core process of the customer: their physical chain is integrated in real time with their digital chain. They help customers optimize logistics flows, track physical assets and improve the efficiency of the employees involved through tracking & tracing and Internet-of-Things solutions.
In December 2020, Simac acquired 70% of the shares of PHI DATA. Simac expects the market for the aforementioned digitization solutions to grow strongly in the coming years. Eric van Schagen, CEO Simac: “We have already taken steps in this area within Simac and this acquisition brings a lot of experience and references on board.” PHI DATA operates as an independent operating company within Simac.
PHI DATA has its headquarters in Wemmel, Belgium. There are also branches in Bergen in Wallonia and in Rodange (Luxembourg).
